Underground Academy

I started Underground Academy in early 2021 with a team of public, charter, and private schools with the purpose of empowering students to discover their passion through interactive classes accessible to all youth irrespective of background. Underground Academy is a digital school that hosts discussions with interesting people on topics that are rarely taught in schools, such as; the biggest risks facing humanity, the future of energy, the role of ethics in AI. and more. Our goal is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to explore their interests and learn about our world, irrespective of their socioeconomic background, or their developmental, mental and physical capabilities. We have already had the privilege of talking with NBA star Shane Battier about teamwork and resilience, former DOJ Special Agent Lilia Infante about cybersecurity, and the President of Vanderbilt University about the importance of diverse thinking in college.
